Easy Family Travel Bucket List You Can Start Now

The Places We Can’t Wait to Explore as a Family

There’s something exciting about dreaming up future adventures. Whether it’s a place we’ve never been or a destination that holds a special meaning, having a family travel bucket list keeps us inspired and ready to plan our next big trip.

Some of these places are once-in-a-lifetime destinations, while others are closer to home but still filled with adventure. No matter how big or small, each trip on this list is about creating lifelong memories together. We spend a lot of time talking about travel in the home of The Singing Suitcase. Not only because it’s our family business, but also because it’s something that we ALL love! SO here is our own list that we recently created.

Our Top Family Bucket List Destinations

Here are a few places at the top of our list:

Scotland – Castles, stunning landscapes, and maybe even a little Nessie hunting?

England – My husband is a huge Aston Villa fan, and we can’t wait to take the girls to a match!

Argentina – We honeymooned here, and now we want to share its beauty, culture, and food with our kids.

Road Trip to the Grand Canyon – The ultimate U.S. family adventure we’re eager to experience.

Missoula, Montana – A road trip to visit friends and take in the beautiful outdoors.

These are just a few of our dream destinations. In addition, we usually spend a weekend or two at the Oregon Coast during the year and I try to make a visit to Hawaii an annual trip.

How We Plan to Make These Trips Happen

A bucket list is fun to dream about, but it’s even better when you actually start crossing places off. Here’s how we make sure these trips become a reality:

  • Prioritizing Travel in Our Budget – Finding ways to save, plan ahead, and make travel part of our lifestyle.
  • Using Points & Miles – Making the most of travel rewards to cut down on costs.
  • Balancing Big Trips with Weekend Getaways – Not every adventure has to be far away!
